In these unprecedented times, we have to change our thinking, get creative and find new ways of doing things. Our old way of thinking and doing things, in most cases, won’t work. Most of us are “staying at home” and we don’t know how long this will last. Depending on where you live, it may already have been two or three weeks long. This is a real adjustment from life as we knew it. Many are stressed over the whole situation; some are already going “stir-crazy” staying home. Others are fighting depression. But we have a choice. We CAN turn the entire situation around by changing our perception of what is happening. Let’s look at the good that is coming out of this; families are spending more time with their children, people are getting creative, neighbors are helping neighbors, and good will is everywhere. In many ways, it appears that society is getting back to what is truly important in life; loving, sharing, helping, family and friends, and creating. If you find yourself in a difficult place, have lost your job, are worried about money, etc., as difficult and dire as it may seem, you must look at the good that is happening if you want things to change. You must have gratitude for what you have, every little thing counts. Often the little things become big things when you get into gratitude. Nothing is too insignificant to express gratitude for. When you get into the “feeling” of gratitude, you then can move the joy. Let go of the thoughts that keep you down. Lift thought with gratitude and joy. It really is OK to be happy, laugh and enjoy life, even when times are hard. It will lift the cloud and let the light in again. There you can find relief. When you are in gratitude, you are focused on what’s good in life, you notice the abundance and you’re not focused on the lack or what is missing. That’s when the shift happens. The more you practice gratitude, the more you notice the abundance and good in your life. I find myself looking for more things to be grateful for. It’s fun, make a game out of it. This may sound trivial, but it really works. It’s by law. What you focus on is what you attract into your life. When you are thinking about not having enough, how to pay the bills, how am I going to… then you just get more of the same. When your thought is dwelling on what’s good, when you are FEELING gratitude and noticing the abundance and good surrounding you, you will attract more abundance. Ideas, resources, things you hadn’t thought of, will come to you, will come to your mind, and life will open up in ways you hadn’t imagined. Good brings with it more good. Stay away from the television news casts that predict more hard times, more sickness, more lack. Don’t let yourself get sucked into their story. Create the story you want to live. Your thinking really can get you the results you want. Don’t live based on what the outside world is saying. Use your thinking mind, reject thoughts you don’t want manifested in your life, decide what you do want, fall in love with the idea, take action and create it. Even if you don’t know how, take action to move toward what you want. The way will open up. Action is an important step. In essence, think it…feel it…act on it…and you must get the results you desire. Brainstorming is a great way to get creative and find new ideas. Find a partner that you can brainstorm with. The saying, “Two minds are better than one” will really work. Or get a group of people with similar desires and create. When a negative thought is brought to the table, say “next” and move on. Don’t give it any consideration. Only look at possibilities. The answer to any problem is already there. We just have to get on the same vibration with it to see the answer. Keep an open mind. Don’t let any limiting beliefs or thoughts stop you from moving forward. Anything really is possible. Each person holds the key to any problem. It is all in our thinking, our perception and what we believe is possible. Quiet the chatter of limiting thinking, get into gratitude, find the joy and create the results you want. YOU have the thinking power to do it! Now go create it! Image by Free-Photos from Pixabay

Andrew Carnegie said, “Any idea that is held in the mind, that is emphasized, that is either feared or revered, will begin at once to cloth itself in the most convenient and appropriate form available.” In essence, he’s saying that any idea held on to and given power, good or bad, will manifest itself in your life in the easiest way possible. To make it through this global emergency we MUST watch what thoughts we let into our thinking. We MUST be aware of how our thoughts can make our individual situation worse. It’s been proven that whatever we think, whatever we believe and feel with emotion, affects our body; affects the actions we take and the results we get in our life. When worry, doubt and fear enter in, we give away the one power that cannot be taken from us and that is the power to think. In a mind filled with fear and worry there is no thinking. In that place we let outside circumstances control our thinking. We surrender our dominion, giving it away and becoming sheep following the masses, believing and fearing the worst. That is thinking from the outside in, not from the inside out. When keeping our thoughts on what we want, entertaining thoughts of health and happiness, we are open to seeing possibilities. We can see the opportunity of any situation, no matter how it may seem. As we wash our hands and clean our space, let’s also be sure and clean our thinking by remaining positive and seeing the good in staying home. What an opportunity that is! Decide that it’s good. It’s your thinking that makes anything good or bad. Decide it to be the way you want it. Think of the many things you can accomplish during this time at home. Organize that room you’ve been putting off. Spend quality time with your children in conversation or activities you can do together at home. Read those books that have been piling up. Repaint a room you’ve been wanting to redo. What other projects have been on your list for a while that you can now get to? It’s a time to catch-up on projects, to spend quality time with family, or talking to family or friends on the phone you haven’t talked to in a long time. There’s so much to do and once we stop getting caught in the fear of what could happen, our mind is open to letting in productive, positive thoughts of what can be accomplished for the time being. It just takes a shift in thinking. Rid your mind of fearful thoughts. Rid your mind of gloom, doom and panic. It serves no one. Replace negative thoughts with love, joy, gratitude, compassion and faith. There is power in faith and by entertaining positive thoughts you can help heal the world. Have faith that there is a higher power and that we will get through these trying times. Have faith that normalcy will be restored and expect good to come out of all this. Protect your mind. Control your thinking. Your reasoning factor and your ability to think are two of your highest mental functions. Be sure you exercise them. Keep your vibration high. See the opportunity. See what can be done during this time at home. If we all stay calm, stay positive and look for the good, it will help heal the world. Instead of falling into the trap of victim, stand strong. Stand up for righteousness, compassion and love for our fellow man. Together we can affect the collective consciousness and turn things around. Your thought, my thought, all thoughts matter. Let’s make sure they are good thoughts that dwell on the results we want to see for our lives, and for the world. Photo by Chris Barbalis on Unsplash I want to share a recent conversation I had with someone because I think this situation is common and the insight can help many people. Mary had written a message to Sue, someone that hurt her in the past that she feels hatred towards. Mary read me what she had written. She was letting Sue know how she felt about her and that she never wants to see her again. Mary was asking me if she thought she should send it. Mary thought by sending this it would make her feel better once she lets Sue know how she feels about her. I was glad she hadn’t sent it yet. Mary told me this came up because in unpacking and sorting from a recent move, she kept seeing a photo of Sue and knew that it was time to deal with these feelings towards her. I told her she definitely needed to put this to rest so that she, Mary, would be free of these negative feelings. The photo was just a reminder to deal with it now. I then suggested a better way to release this negativity towards Sue. What Mary had initially written was short. I suggested that she write down on a piece of paper everything she wants to tell Sue. Really get her feelings out and on the paper. After she has done that to then take the paper and burn it or shred it. This would allow her to get all her feelings out and release them. The act of burning or shredding is symbolic and the idea behind it is important. When actually doing the shredding or burning, you want to mentally release the feelings you’ve written on the paper. See yourself happy and free, feeling the way you want to feel once you’ve released the negativity. After you let the feelings go, don’t look for them to see if they’re really gone. Let them go all the way. Notice in yourself an uplifted free feeling. For some, letting these negative feelings go may be a very emotional experience. Besides feeling free you may also feel relief, joy or exhilaration. And then express gratitude for your feelings of happiness and freedom. (Don’t express gratitude for not having the negative feelings anymore. It takes you right back to them.) We never want to carry hatred inside of us. It only hurts the person holding on to it. It will literally eat you up from the inside out. It must be released so that you can live freely without carrying that burden. Do it for yourself. Let it go! Had Mary sent the letter to Sue, the feelings would not have been released. In fact, it would most likely have created deeper hatred or resentment. It’s not likely that she could have made Sue feel bad. Even if she did that wouldn’t have solved anything. It only would perpetuate the negative feelings and Mary would not have experienced the release she was looking for. The best place to heal anything is within ourself. It’s our own thinking and feeling about anything that can be changed and healed. I also suggested to Mary to include forgiveness in this process. Forgiveness means to let go of completely. The person being forgiven usually never even knows you’re forgiving them and often they don’t recognize they need forgiving. They don’t need to know they’re being forgiven. It’s for the benefit of the forgiver, which can be life changing. In the forgiving, the hatred can be released. Forgiveness comes from the heart, not from the head. This reminds me of my daily gratitude which includes sending love to those that bother you. It too is a transformative process. I’ve created a gratitude journal template, with instructions, that explains the practice of daily gratitude, including asking for daily guidance and sending love. If you’re new to gratitude you will find these tools very helpful. Download your free copy through this link: https://bit.ly/2nlU3TY. I know this process of releasing bad feelings works. I share this in hopes that it will help you. I want everyone to enjoy a life of freedom, good health and positive energy. We grow by going through experiences such as Mary’s. Each time we move through any difficulty, it proves to us that we can do it and we can become a better version of ourself when we do. I encourage you to release your negative feelings and step into a life of larger freedom and happiness. Image by Mariana Marquez from Pixabay. Everything vibrates. All living beings and even things that seem solid. They’re just vibrating at different rates. When you’re in a high vibration you’re feeling great, things are going your way, good things are happening. On the other hand, when you’re in a low vibration you are feeling down, not so good, and often it seems like one bad thing after another happens. Feelings are really an awareness of the vibration you’re in. Being aware of your vibration or your feelings is the first step to altering your vibration. But how do you do that? I get it that sometimes staying down there is just easier. You want to wallow around in self-pity awhile and feel self-justification for being there. But that only allows that negativity to get a firmer grasp. If you stay there it leads to more misery. Whatever put you there has no part in who you truly are as a spiritual being. It’s not your true genuine self. We are in this experience to grow and evolve. There are lessons to learn all the time. Take time to reflect, back off, and listen for the message. Find the lesson, learn what you can from it so you can move on, wiser than you were before. The negative stories that we tell ourself, about any situation, alter our thinking and put us in a negative vibration. In nearly all cases, we falsely perceive something to be a certain way when in reality if we stop thinking that’s the only way and be open to a change in perspective, we could rise above that “stinkin’ thinkin’” and find a better way. Negative thinking and stories do not serve us well. They make us unhappy. When we put our attention on the negative stories, they just grow stronger, but that’s always a choice. It takes a change of mind to improve things. To raise your vibration, there are several tools you can use. The following list are suggestions. You may have things to add to the list that you enjoy. Discovering what works for you is part of the journey. Make it fun. You deserve all the goodness this life has to offer. Don't delay, get busy, use these tools and get back to the high vibration you're meant to be in. Going for a walk in nature – be outdoors and notice your surroundings, take it in. Physical exercise – do some strenuous activity or exercise that makes you sweat. Dance – put on your favorite music that makes you move and dance around by yourself. Do yoga – if you aren’t a yoga studio member find videos on TV or online. Play with your pets - have fun with them. Love on your cat, or play ball with your dog. Call a friend that listens well but that won’t try to solve all your problems. Listen to music – calming music or energizing music, whichever serves you best in the moment. Take a bubble bath, light some candles and relax, put on some calming music. Sing your heart out - like no one is listening. Listen to transformational audios or watch personal growth videos on YouTube. Think into the feelings of Gratitude – make a list of what you have to be grateful for, FEEL it! Journaling – write with pen and paper, after a few minutes the deeper feelings come out. Create a vision board – gather words and pictures of what you really want your life to look like. Meditate – if meditation is new for you try some guided meditation. There’s lots on YouTube. Pray – no matter your religion, connect with source, God, or your higher consciousness. Read spiritual or inspirational books My favorite is spending time outdoors, no matter what I’m doing. For me being close to nature is very satisfying and brings me great peace. I also like to physically work or clean house. We are here to enjoy life. Don’t let yourself stay down very long. Use these tools to get your vibration up where it should be. Life’s purpose is the expansion of happiness. Get back up into happiness. Let me know what tools work for you to get you back into a higher vibration. Photo by Fernando Brasil on Unsplash February 14th is an unofficial holiday when many people celebrate their love for others. It’s a wonderful occasion for celebrating that love but we should not need a holiday to do so. Don’t get me wrong, I am not against Valentines Day. It is a day that reminds us to be grateful for someone special and to express that love in a way that lets them know how much they mean to us. It’s a day that reminds us of the importance of doing so. It reminds us not to take for granted the love we have for others and the love others give us. Expressing feelings may be difficult for some and having Valentine’s Day is the perfect time for them to more easily show their love. I would like to challenge you to let someone know how much they mean to you everyday, not just on Valentine’s Day. This can done with words, affection, gifts, or just simple acts of kindness. One never knows how much a simple compliment or kind word or deed can mean to the receiver, how much it can brighten their day. I’ll never forget the year I had been going through some difficult times. On my birthday that year I received an abundance of cards and love, from so many people that I didn’t normally receive birthday wishes from. It felt so nice. I felt loved and it was just what I needed. It stands out to me because I recognized at the time that I was receiving more than I had ever received before. We don’t need to wait for a special occasion to let someone know we’re thinking about them. We can spread love and thoughtfulness everyday, even to strangers that cross our path. Everyone wants to feel love. When we feel down, one of the best things we can do for ourself is to do for others, to give in some way. We can never be deprived or suffer when doing good for another. The good we do and give always comes back to us. It’s also important to remember to show yourself some love. We should love ourselves, appreciate our own goodness, and treat ourself like we would like to be treated. It’s OK to love ourself. It’s not done in an egotistical way but just with genuine care and love. Tell yourself, “I love you”. Look in the mirror and say it. It may be uncomfortable at first, but it will get easier. It’s a good daily habit to get into and will strength your self-esteem. Another aspect of giving love is to also be a good receiver. Don’t push away or downplay the love someone gives you. Be gracious and receive it well. It means something to them so appreciate it. You are worthy of receiving love. I appreciate those of you who follow me, read my blogs and my newsletter, and who appreciate what I share. Thank you for letting me share with you. I wish all of you a very Happy Valentine’s Day. Now, let’s continue to spread the love to others… everyday. Photo by Element5 Digital on Unsplash We use our perception every moment of the day. It’s how we look at everything in life, good or bad. Our perception is formed from our programming. Our viewpoints have been taught to us. We have accepted the thinking patterns of those we were raised around. As we learn and grow, we come to realize that our perception can change. We have the greatest of freedoms – the freedom to think, the freedom to choose our thoughts and the freedom to respond however we want. We don’t have to accept and stay stuck in the programming we acquired. It is only that paradigm, that programming, that keeps us locked into a point of view. We were programmed based on someone else’s understanding and perception. Now we know better and can shift our perception. It’s time you claim your freedom. You can raise your level of awareness and look at life with new eyes, not clouded by someone else’s viewpoints. You are free to create your own viewpoint, to perceive differently. When we shift our perception, we can see what we’ve never seen before. We shift our viewpoint as we shift our perception. Nothing is neither good nor bad, but our programming alters our perception to make it one way or the other. It’s not bad unless we think it’s bad. For example, you lose your job. You could let it really get you down and start worrying and fretting about your future. When you react this way, you are accepting that this is a really bad thing to happen to you. That is your perception. When you shift your perception, and don’t let the negativity get into your thought, you can look for the good in what has happened. Approach it from the viewpoint of, there must be something better for me, even if it was a job you liked. It’s an opportunity to be open to receiving something better in your life when you don’t let the negativity block the good that’s coming to you. You must have an expectancy of good and know it’s waiting for you and FEEL what it’s like to have it in your life. When presented with challenges, ask yourself, “How would someone else look at this challenge?” Really open your mind to look at challenges from a different viewpoint, to rise above the problems. Don’t let your own limiting beliefs keep you stuck in a certain viewpoint or perception. Bob Proctor teaches that when you have a problem, write it on a piece of paper and put it in the middle of the table. This removes the problem from you and puts it out there to be viewed differently. Next, sit down on one side of the table and look at the problem from that viewpoint. Then move to the next chair and look at the problem from that viewpoint. Do this all the way around the table so you’ve had a chance to view the problem from every angle. This may seem simplistic but when you approach this properly, it opens your mind to receiving answers to solve your problem. It helps you get unstuck from thinking there’s only one way and often that’s not a very desirable way to handle it. The answer to any problem is already here, it’s our perception that causes us to look at things a certain way, good or bad. You must make up your mind that you’re going to beat the challenge, expecting to find a solution. Your level of thought must rise above the problem to find the solution. You can’t find the solution or solve the problem when your thinking stays down where the problem is. You’ll never find the answer there. A shift in perception can improve your life in many areas. It will free you from negative, limited thinking about many aspects of your day and your life. If you really think about the depth of how perception is used every moment, you can glimpse how a shift will truly open up a new world of possibilities for you. It can turn you down the path toward creating the life you love. Practice looking for the good. Don’t be quick to react or judge. Instead, take a second to pause and ask yourself, is this a learned reaction or is it really my choice. Is my belief about this positive or negative? How can I look at this differently? Exercise your power to think differently. Choose how you want to feel. Don’t just react. Choose how you want to respond. Step into your freedom of thinking and the freedom to choose. The more you practice being aware of where your perception is coming from and how it serves you, or not, the more possibilities you will become aware of. Doors will open up that you never dreamed of before. You will feel empowered as you step into your freedom and you will become unstoppable. Photo by Mathilda Khoo on Unsplash Beyond our five physical senses, we have six incredible powers known as our mental faculties. They are: Imagination, Intuition, Will, Memory, Reason and Perception. Everyone has these faculties. Some may be more developed than others, but with use and practice, these faculties can be strengthened. The stronger they become, the more they can help you create the life that you would love to live, creating the results you want in your life. In this article I am going to focus on the power of intuition and what you can do to recognize it and use it. Intuition is the ability to know, an inner knowing that isn’t based on logic or rational thinking. It comes from information in the subconscious mind and uses little or no information from the physical senses. You’ve probably walked into a room of people and felt the energy of the room, whether it’s upbeat or down and heavy. You’re picking up the thoughts and feelings of the people there. Or maybe you’ve gone home, walk in, and without anyone saying anything, you can FEEL that your spouse is in a bad mood. That’s your intuition. We want to pay attention to our feelings. When we are still, and we quiet our mind from the busyness of life, we can listen and hear what our intuition is telling us. By recognizing our intuition, we can develop it and use it more in our life. What happens when we get these “feelings” is that we are picking up the energy of the person, or the room. We are picking up the energy of the thoughts. Everything in the universe is energy, EVERYTHING. Rocks are energy, concrete, any substance you might think is solid, is still energy. Energy vibrates. Our intuition is sensing the vibrations and we receive it as feelings. Vibrations are everywhere. We send out and receive vibrations, all day long. When you hear a loud horn and it frightens you, that is a vibration coming from your senses, not your intuition. Feeling the energy in the room comes from your intuitive sense. Intuition always comes from your non-physical senses. Notice the difference between sensing vibrations through your senses and from your intuitive mind. The more you do it, the clearer it will become. Your intuition will come through differently than other thoughts you hear. The more you tune into hearing that voice, the more familiar it will become. Your intuition is the still small voice and will never be fearful or frantic. It’s a calm knowing. It can be that “gut-feeling”. You just know, you just sense what the truth is or what to do. Exercising your intuition is tapping into your subconscious mind. Stay positive because negative thoughts will block your intuition. Allow your inner voice to be heard. Started recognizing your intuition by being aware of your feelings and listening to the inner voice or you gut. The more you practice it, the stronger it will become. Listen and it will guide you to a better way of living. “There is a universal, intelligent, life force that exists within everyone and everything. It resides within each one of us as a deep wisdom, an inner knowing. We can access this wonderful source of knowledge and wisdom through our intuition, an inner sense that tells us what feels right and true for us at any given moment.” - Shakti Gawain Your goal is set for this year. Now what? A goal requires action, or it remains a hope or wish. The first thing is to make a committed decision and expect that you will achieve your goal. There are physical steps to take that will move you toward your goal, and there are mental steps that are just as important that will aid in manifesting your goal. The main purpose of this article is to address the non-physical or mental steps to take to achieve your goal, but first I’ll briefly say this about the physical steps. Some of the physical steps you’ll need to take, you may not know what they are right now, but be assured, they will be revealed to you when you need to know them. Start taking the action steps that you know to take and do something everyday that moves you forward. The resources, ideas and means to accomplish your goal will come to you in the amount you need and when you need them. Visualizing your goal is extremely powerful for creating or doing anything that you want to do. My blog post from August 19, 2019 is “The Power of Visualizing Your Goals.” You can read that blog to learn more about visualizing. The exercise I want to share today is to send a message to yourself from your future self. In a year, see yourself having accomplished the goal you’ve set for this year, and from that point in time, record a message to you today. I would recommend a video recording but at the least, do an audio recording. You are going to celebrate the successes that you’ve had this year. Celebrate what you’ve done, your achievements, where you’ve gone, and do the celebration with great feeling and emotions. Really feel what it’s like to have achieved your goals. Go into detail about how you feel about it, how what you’ve done has impacted others, and celebrate in the spirit of joy and with fun. This is a positive, upbeat exercise that will get you believing that you are going to achieve your goals. You must have belief in order to accomplish what you want to do. The emotions that you put into this, and the details about your successes, what has happened because of it and what you’ve done will enforce the belief and expand your thought to the possibilities and the reality of your achievements. Tell your celebration story with such conviction that anyone listening would have no doubt that you achieved your goal and that this was truly a celebration. For example, if your goal was to acquire your dream job making a specific amount of money (state the amount in your goal) and doing so allows you to take your family on vacation to Hawaii for 2 weeks and donate $10,000 to your local animal shelter you have lots to celebrate. Talk about what it feels like to make that income and what it provides for your family. What activities are you doing now that you couldn’t do previously? Celebrate the Hawaii trip, how many people went, where did you stay, what did you do? How did if feel when you all learned to surf? What color was the water you swam in? What fish did you see scuba diving? What was the animal shelter able to do because of your donation? How many animals were housed, spayed or neutered, re-homed, vaccinated, fed? How does that make you and your family feel knowing you helped so many animals? With excitement relay the awesomeness and gratitude of every experience you had and experiences you were able to give to others. When you video your celebration, make it fun, like a party. Get creative, be festive and have fun! Bring in the noise makers, the confetti, and have a toast! Feel proud of yourself. Your success adds to more lives than just your own. It impacts your family as well as people you don’t know because by spending money you are enhancing other lives. Listen to your recording. Feed the celebration of your achievements into your subconscious mind and it will help you get there. The recording can act much like an affirmation. You can also use it to inspire you when the going gets difficult. It’s a reminder of what you are achieving, what your expectations are and the reality that you will do it. Most importantly, remember the FEELINGS you have with your success. Enjoy this exercise and utilize it to the fullest for the most benefit, and watch things manifest. Maintain your steadfast belief that you are achieving your goal and creating the life you desire. Always have gratitude and make it fun. Leave a comment and let me know about your successes and how you used this tool. Photo by Wout Vanacker on Unsplash Are your goals set for this year? It’s not too late if they aren’t. Get busy and set your yearly goal. You want to take advantage of the entire year. Use the energy and timing of this New Year to help you reach your goals. Earl Nightingale said, “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal.” He is saying that you are successful when you are progressively working toward your goal, not when you achieve it. This is when you are taking the action required to move toward your goal. He also names it is a “worthy goal or ideal.” That means it’s an idea that pushes you beyond what you think you are capable of. The whole purpose of a goal is to make you grow. It is something that you don’t know how to do, have never done before and don’t know how it can be achieved. As such, it may scare you, but that’s alright. It should also be an idea that you are so in love with that it excites you in spite of the fear. The emotional connection with your goal is needed to get you through the challenges and tough times that will show up on your way to the goal. And there will be challenges. Welcome them. It’s where the growth happens. “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become be achieving your goals.” Henry David Thoreau. A goal is designed to make you grow. Working towards a goal is a journey and not a destination. When you reach one goal, you then create a new goal and keep going, repeating the process. A proper goal is a want, not a need. A need is not inspiring, will not make you grow and does not carry with it the inspiration you need to stick with it. Napoleon Hill said, “A goal is a dream with a deadline.” Use your imagination to create the goal that you really want. Then put the date on it for when you want to achieve. If it’s not dated, it doesn’t carry with it the commitment and action needed to get it done. Not having a date is like saying, “I’ll do it when I get around to it”, or “when this happens then I’ll do my goal”. That’s not a goal. Remember that if you get to your date and you haven’t achieved your goal, don’t give up. Just extend your date. You never change the goal to fit the date but it’s alright to change the date. To set goals that you will achieve, you must have a specific goal. The universe will help you reach your goal however, it must know exactly what the goal is. Saying, “I want a better job” is not a good enough goal. Describe the job, what you’re doing in it, how much money you’re making, detail exactly what a better job looks like for you. Then you will be able to focus on those details and The Law of Attraction will be helping you achieve your goal. Belief is essential in achieving your goal. You must have belief that you will accomplish it. You cannot have any doubt. Do not listen to nay-sayers, and in fact, it’d probably be wise to not share your goal with people who you know won’t support you. Keep it close to your heart and what you’re working toward will be revealed to others in your actions as you are moving closer to your goal. Set your intention that your goal is going to manifest. Start acting like it is. Live as if it’s already happened. Have complete certainty that you are achieving this goal. When doubt starts to creep in, immediately identify and correct the disbelief. Make a habit of doing this. Make a habit of switching your belief as soon as you recognize any sense of doubt or disbelief. Correct the thought and move forward, taking the action needed to bring your goal to fruition. Be aware of your energy around your goal. You want to be sure it is always positive energy, thought and focus that you are giving it. You must truly believe this goal is manifesting and is on its way to you. Your mind has the ability to maintain the mindset needed to reach your goal. Your mind has the creative ability to help you set and achieve your worthy ideal, your dream goal. Remove any limited thinking and limiting beliefs and let your full potential be realized when you move toward and accomplish your lofty goals. If you’ve already set this year’s goals, take another in-depth look at them based on what I’ve shared here. If you haven’t, take the time to think about it and write, yes, write down on paper, what your goals are. Goals must be written down to be effective. When you are working toward your goal, you are successful. Have a goal so emotionally charged that you will keep at it no matter what. The journey of goal setting and achieving can be so fun and rewarding. And remember, when you reach one goal, to set another goal, a bigger goal. Continue to set goals and continually grow. This allows you to live the life you want, that YOU are creating! When our level of thinking is raised beyond what appears to be evident, we open ourselves up to a whole new way of looking at everything. There is so much more to life than what our limited senses tell us. We have a choice to accept the limited thinking or to explore the possibilities of thinking beyond and expanding our awareness. When we choose to expand, life itself increases and everything can change. We are spiritual ideas and spirit is always seeking expansion and fuller expression. It’s natural to want to grow, be more, experience more, do more. We’re supposed to. The purpose of life is to grow and evolve, to become more of who we’re meant to be. Many people have a yearning for more but don’t know what, they just know there’s more to life for them. That was me. Life was good but I knew there was more. I found it during my pursuit of personal development. My understanding has expanded, and I continue to grow. I will never stop now that I’ve learned a better way of thinking. Raising your level of awareness and thinking is a form of expansion. This is when you feel good, life is good, the glass is half full, you’re happy, loving, positive and thinking of others. It’s easy to spot someone in this expanded state. It’s also easy to spot someone in a contracted space, the opposite of expanded. Contraction is experienced as unhappiness, feeling discouraged, selfishness, anger, frustration, depression. Having an awareness of your feelings will indicate the state you are in, expanded or contracted. Our experience is determined by our perspective. Our perspective is formed by our thinking, limited or unlimited, open or close minded, expanded or contracted. It’s the story we create about how we perceive our life to be. It’s what we create, knowing or unknowingly. What is your story, the one you’ve created for your life? Does it feel good? Is it true? How do you know? When you’re contracted it doesn’t feel good, but it’s the story that’s the problem. What are you telling yourself? What is your attention on? When we put our attention on what we perceive as limited and a story is created around that, we just get more of the same. The way to change is by changing your mind, change your story. Write a new story, a good story, the way you want your life, your job, your relationship to be. Put aside the limited thinking that is keeping you stuck where you are, all because you can’t see a different way or think your way is the only way. Just imagine what can be when you adjust your thought, open up to the possibilities and see things through a new lens. It’s nothing outside of us that needs to be changed. It’s an inside job. It’s our thinking, our perception and when we open our thought to a new way of looking at something, we will discover joy and happiness, an expanded awareness of what life really can be like. Put aside control. Put aside limited thinking and judgement. Be open. Receive the ideas that can improve your life and be grateful. Choose expansion and live free. Photo by Kyle Glenn on Unsplash |
